Sparx (my leo) has this chunk missing on her nose. I took her out of the tank yesterday and saw she had a scab-like thing on her nose. I felt it a chunk of her nose wasn't there. I don't know what it is so, can anyone tell me what it is and how I can treat it? I thought about taking her to the vet, but I need to know if I have to. Here are some pics.

Rough surfaces in her cage? And has she recently shed?

Those are the only non-medical causes I can think of that would cause that. If neither of those are the case, I'm thinking you should probably take her to the vet. Because if she couldn't have scraped in on anything, and if she didn't get into a fight with anyone, then something might be medically wrong.

Well her water bowl has rough sides and almost everything else in her cage is a hard surface just not rough. I think she may have shed 2 or 3 days ago.
It seems more irritated and scab-like almost like she rubbed it against something or is scratching it.

Then I would suggest just keeping an eye on it. You can put some neosporin (without the anesthetic/pain killer) on it if you'd like but it isn't necessary. If it's just a scrape it'll heal in a few sheds.

She does seem to lick her nose alot. It almost looks chapped. Could she have a sinus infection? She's not around other reptiles but I do have hermit crabs and cats.

No... but, in the after picture you can see that her mouth is slightly open in the front. Well I don't think it has closed since yesterday. I don't know if it is related to the problem with her nose but, I will be keeping an eye on her for a little while. Thank you so much for the help. I will post something if anything changes.
