I will probably be setting up a small leo colony around early January. I have done a lot of heavy research and have been keeping herps for almost 7 years now and plan to continue. I am working on a pretty tight budget so i would like advice on how do save money if any one gives me advice it is well appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to GF! If you're planning to breed leopard geckos you're looking at spending a bit of cash. I would recommend keeping them individually in a rack set up as this will cut down on competition/aggression issues. They're like rabbits and are really easy to breed if they're healthy! A cheap ($40-60) hovabator-type incubator will work well. I'd suggest starting out small with a 1.1 or 1.2 group. Females can produce 20+ eggs in a season and caring for babies is where the majority of expense comes in. I'd invest in the nicest pair you can buy so the babies you produce are marketable. If you produce low-quality babies you're pretty much going to have to find them local homes which can be difficult in some areas.

Good luck!!
