Alright so I'm in the cleaning mood and well with black racks they tend to start to get white after a while because of all the calcium and such. Never really thought much about it but figure I'd post to see what you guys had to say. Can I remove the tubs and clean just the rack shelves with windex then put the tubs right back. I would think it would be ok but I want to see what everyone else thinks... O and I will take pictures later with our new little toy... (Rebel XT yay.)

You could probably just clean them with a damp cloth wet with worm water. that way you don't have to worry about chemicals or odor. Or maybe a little bit of Novasan.

First of all, yay for Rebels! Second, that should be fine. The ammonia is what you need to be careful with in windex and it evaporates very quickly after whipped down.

I use Novalsan when I clean my racks. It works great and I don't have that nagging doubt about possibly harming the geckos.

Make me the third that uses Nolvasan. I spot clean throughout the week and every Sunday do a thorough clean of everyone's tank with the Nolvasan.
