When I clean my ten gallon tank out every 6 months what type of cleaning solution should I soak it in. Can I use that solution for the furniture in there? How long should I soak th furniture and how long the tank. Is cleaning the furniture every month good and cleaning the tank every six months. Thanks.

I use just plain warm water, alot of times I will take a paper towel and wip stuff of good. I would let things soak for atleast a couple of hours.

I use water and vinegar and I try to clean the tank every month. Make sure if you use anything other than plain water that it is rinsed off very well.

How much vinegar do I put in the tank while its soaking?

I just scrub the tank with 2:1 water to vinegar. I have also heard that people soak some cloth in vinegar and just place it on parts of the tank for a little while.
