Also he's almost a brown color with a slight hint of orange? Is this normal? Someone told me it means he's sick?!

Okay so I really think this bearded dragon is sick!! I tried to give him a bath and get him some exercise I have a bump in my bucket for him to get out of the water. The water wasn't even an inch. So I put him in and he swam for only a sec then he sat there with his head below the water.... SHOULD I BRING HIM BACK?!?!

If you put him in the water, and he stays under for a second, that is normal. He will pick his head up when he needs to breathe, or realizes that he is in water.

Okay I am just so worried because when I took him out he was lifeless I thought he was dead!!! He even fell off my hand when I was holing him because he didnt hold on. :-/ but then he finally opened his eyes and started breathing again!! Also is it normal for him to be sooooo dark brown he's almost black :-/

Im sorry but the petsmart vets are not worthy of being called vets. And no self respecting vet would call themselves one while working with them. Their motivation is money, just like the store there are corporate laws and standards they must fallow, Store animals are more likely to be put down then treated if it costs more then the price of the animal.

You can try what I told a customer to do at the Petsmart I worked at. If it's within the 14 days, tell them you want it seen by a vet as it's not eating, lethargic etc... If they say okay and will have it seen by their in store vet tell them you want it seen by a reptile specialist vet of your own. Usually cheaper for them anyway. The customer's bearded dragon got better and I got a thank you card :)
It may or may not work with your store though. It all depends on the manager. I doubt it's protocol to send a sick animal elsewhere to be treated. Sadly though, the in store vets do suck. Wouldn't know the difference between a crested and leopard gecko :(
