Clyde is a pictus gecko. Clyde was found underneath a pet carrier in my store. We're not honestly sure how he got there, or why someone wanted to to try to squish him under the carrier...
When we found him, Clyde had dropped his tail. He was thin, twitching his entire body, and had stuck shed on his legs, toes, and back.
A few weeks ago I brought Clyde home. Clyde's twitches are very few and far between now, and if he does twitch, it's only his head.
He's been given a clean bill of health, but my vet can't explain the head twitches.
Clyde has horrible shedding issues. I'm misting his humid hide all the time, but he won't go in it for the life of him. I've been giving him soaks in luke-warm water and gently rolling the shed off with a q-tip.
Anyways, here's my unique little guy in his humid hide getting ready to have the stuck shed on his toes rolled off.
Finally coaxed him into the hide with a waxworm treat.
