This morn I noticed something out of the ordinary in top corner of my visionarium.

Is it safe to go ahead and let the moth emerge?

ANy thoughts?

Assuming it is the bombyx mori(or however it is spelled), aka silk- worm/caterpillar moth, it is OK for them. I do not know about other moth species.

Ive had silkworm cocoons that were white, not yellow. They only got yellowed if other silkworms messed around near them. But since u say its a regular moth, then i dunno.

everysinge last one of my silk worms cacoons were white. ive never had a yellow one, and man does that one look like a silk worm cacoon. but if its not, then im sure its still ganna be fine for them to eat the moth. there are surtain kinds of moths they cant eat. so you need to let it come out and see what it is befor you let him eat it.
all my insectivores LOVE silk moths. heres some pics of one of mine eating a moth

It looks like a silkworm has cocooned there- I usually quite like giving the moths to my gecko when the moths emerge [about 2-3 weeks after cocooning] and they're pretty good for midsized hatchlings about 3-4 months old [Mo shot up in size after I had a batch of them once]

it looks somewhat spider to me.. Even it is moth I wouldn't bother because so many wild insects are loaded with pesticides and more.. I would buy the silks and feed those..

I'd get rid of it. thats just me..
