Hey GF Members!

I walked into my room this afternoon, and looked at my Eastern Collard Lizard.
She has BRIGHT ORANGE, like neon spots around her "collar". I have seen many pics of this, but I am wondering what caused it?
Is she at full maturity?
Is it breeding season?

Anyone know?

Thanks,
Hayden

I got some pictures for anyone who can help out. :)
And no, I didn't just mark her with a Highlighter. Haha :p

Yep, those markings are her way of saying to males that she is ready to breed. It is called a nuptial blush and will happen every year, both collareds and leopard lizards do this.

Thanks for all the kind comments everyone!

RocksMama, I bought mine at my local privately owned pet shop. The chain stores won't have them but you can ask your other shops if they are able to order some.
