Ok I always wondered this and thought this would be a good place to find out. In the frog world to keep frogs like Tomato frogs a nice orange/red color you have to feed their feeder insects with carrots and oranges. I was wondering could this apply to Leos? Me personally I dont think so but i have never found an answer. Then again they do change color dependent on tempeture and thats kinda odd... Does anybody know of a study on feeder color dependencies in Leos? I think it would be kinda interesting.
Thanks for your replys to a odd question! LOL

I have been keeping leos for over 10 years and never seen a leo change colors so I would say no. When I bred and kept tokays, they use to change to a dark and dull color when stressed but never seen any leos change colors.

Tremper albinos and blizzards are known for being able to darken or lighten depending on temps and mood. I have seen my female line snow change from dark to light and vice versa, I feel that hers was done by mood. She was dark before being fed and afterwards she was whiter.
