Color question

When I got my gecko she was yellow and tan spotted with a gray tail. People have told me that she is a murphys patternless. Over the past week I have noticed that she has gotten much more colorful. She is getting orange on her tail, over her eyes are turning green, and her yellow is much brighter. I thought that they only change colors after they shed, but she hasn't shed that I know of. Do they become more colorful with a better diet? or do they just gradually change? She looks better than when I first got her, I was just wondering.

Thats just a Juvi. The pattern will fade and the colors will become more intense. There are Darker Patternless's though as well.

does the orange on the tail mean it will probably be a carrot tail?

It's possible, you'll just have to wait and see.

I think the rule of thumb is 30% of the tail has to be orange for it to be considered a CT.
