Confirmed Hets

I'm planning to get tremper albino poss het eclipse. How can one confirm or guarantee that the gecko indeed has that het since "hets"it is not visible?

Breed it with an eclipse or a het eclipse. Eclipse is a recessive trait, so both the male and female have to carry the trait to produce that morph. If you produce an eclipse with that pairing you will know that it is het for that trait.

Thanks! Does it mean that we can only take the word of the seller(who I dont personally know) that a certain specimen have hets?

A reputable breeder would say which het a leo has or possibly has.

If the leo is sold as a "possible het" then that's all the breeder can know. Possible het occurs when one of the parents is a het and there's no way to know whether the gene was passed along to the offspring or not unless you test breed. If you want a guaranteed het, you'll have to buy one that's guaranteed.
