Confused over egg!!

Hi everyone..My female laid a single egg on Monday night and I placed it in a vermiculite incubator and when i checked on it this morning it is still white but when i candle it there does not seem to be anything there it goes a slight yellow colour..Does this mean that the egg is infertile or will it just need a little longer? The egg has been between 82-86F since it has been laid

It may be infertile, but I"ve had success with eggs where I never could see anything. Just keep incubating it and find things to occupy your mind so you don't go crazy with waiting (not like I take my own advice).

Ive had an egg be yellow and 2 weeks later it''ll pink up

82-86 is a HUGE fluctuation for incubating leopard gecko eggs.
you'll want an incubator that can hold a stable temperature for best results.

to help insulate, i built a box around mine. dont know if thats why you are having temp flux problems.

Some incubators require a stable room temperature that's cool enough, like the hobovators. A warm reptile room will cause fluctuation.

Last year I wrapped my Little Giant with a blanket, and that helped to stabilize the temps.

I have done that too. But I wouldn't do it unless you are sure there is no risk of fire. Foam sheets are good insulators too.
