I know one person with 2 Leos and he fed them a goldfish. How bad is this? Should they be taken to a vet?

And it was not me, I am not THAT stupid. Just worried about those Leos.

Im not sure what might happen but if the goldfish had a parasite it could have passed it on to the leos

Goldfish are high in copper, which is why they are not usually fed to reptiles. Outside of that, a fish is a very unnatural prey item for leopard geckos. Once may not hurt but it would never be recommended.

I think goldfish contain plenty of nutritional value (they're essentially domesticated carp, and people eat carp all the time), but I wouldn't feet any fish to my leopard geckos. Parasites are a major issue, but also diseases like salmonella could easily be passed from the fish to the geckos, and then later on to yourself. It's not a good idea.
