Our juvi bearded dragon is beginning to out grow his 20 long and I was thinking of using the tank for a pair of Nephrurus Levis! I'm doing my research now, I've found this caresheet to be quite useful..

My questions:
1. I was thinking of using a sand and clay (Excavator?) for the substrate, because I'm worried about the sand alone being too weak to hold a burrow. What do you use?
2. How often should I plan on misting the substrate?
3. I always prefer larvae (Mealies, supers, wax worms, silk worms, etc etc) over any other feeder - Do they accept them as readily as crickets and roaches or are they as picky as AFTs? If so - Which is the preferred worm?
4. Which is better - Calcium and vitamin dusted food or a dish?
5. Can someone give me a better temperature explanation? Is the cool down period necessary?
6. UTH or bulb? UVA/UVB necessary?
