I am in the middle of converting an old 3 drawer dresser into a rack. I had to get a little creative for the bottom of the drawer but nothing a little woodglue and drawer sides couldn't fix to keep the bottom from falling down. I was nervous about how to install the flexwatt but it was so much easer to do then I thought. And I am doing it while fixing a client's laptop computer. I will post pics sometime tonight or in the morning. But it is so much easier then I thought it would be.

still not done grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Well this is really making me mad. I spend all day doing the wiring and only the middle rack works grrrrrrrrrrr.
I even cut 1 section of the flexwatt and used an extra connector and still no heat on the other 2 shelves.

Any sugestions?

Ok here are some pics of the wiring . I am thinking maybe the clamps are not on the flexwatt hard enough. The electricity has to be good because the bottom shelf would heat up like the second shelf because the power cords are connected to the first shelf. I am using 16 gauge indoor extension cord wire. Ace Hardware had a sale $1.00 for a 6 foot extension cord so I bought 2 lol.

Is that the stuff youd use when everybody makes racks on here? Every time i see those plastic tubs in racks i always ask myself how do they heat each one?

Thats the flexwatt heat tape. I think I trouble shooted the prob. I just have to cut the wiring and take the shelves out to fix it. Thats tomarrows project. I just got back from town and just finishing up a clients computer that needed alot of work.
