correct incubation

hi im using 4 inch diameter and 2.5 inch deep delicup with 3/4 of perlite in it,,how much water should i put,,i dont have any weighing scale thats why i need to know how moist it should be

If your container is 2.5" deep then I would have the perlite around 1.5" deep. The perlite/water mixture should be just moist enough to where you can compact it with your hand. You shouldn't have any excess water coming out.

Go to walmart and buy a cheap scale.If your using perlite or vermiculite and you put 30 grams of vermiculite you spray 30 grams of water in it or the scale reaches 60 grams
