i'm sure you could use it for leopard geckos, but they probably wouldn't get much use out of the added height since they don't really climb... i thought one would work well for a crested gecko to save having to buy a taller terrarium

thats too funny. I was just looking at geting two of those...one for my geckos and one for my bearded dragon. My geckos like to climb on everything so im sure they would love it but i think it might drop the temp too much for my beardie.

I just got one and it looks fine. The only thing I'm worried about is having the Leo fall from the top or rip off a claw.

That may work for a chameleon. From experience, Chameleons do much better in mesh as opposed to glass. Some will see their reflection and bash their faces against the glass, often causing scarring and deformities. BUT, they need a lot moisture, so depending on the dryness of your home, a humidifier will be needed or many spray downs a day.

I think generally, climbing lizards would do great in one of those, but you would have to monitor the humidity if it is a humidity seeking lizard. It might be hard to contain the humidity unless you use some plexi to cover 3/4 of the entire cage. You may need double the heat and then that adds to your electric bill and will make the room they are in, much warmer.

I agree, crested would do the best...they live well at room temps.
