I got this little baby 5 days ago. She was being kept in horrible conditions and as you can see, she dropped her tail.
It seems these kids were keeping her in playground sand - there were sticks and leaves in it. She also had a bowl of lettuce, and I have no idea what was in that other dish. Not to mention there was only one hide...
Since I brought her home she's been eating really well (not so good at catching crickets though, but improving) and her tail is already growing back.
I weighed her tonight and she was a whopping 9 grams. Can anyone guess as to how old she is? They told me 6 months, but I doubt any gecko would live that long in those conditions. And she's only 9 grams! I can't even compare since she has no tail.
