Creamsickles.. super confused!

I have searched the forum, but only 2 pages popped up with the keyword Creamsickle, but not a lot of info in each thread. Genetics are super confusing to me on these guys right now. I'm not looking to breed anytime soon. I'm just researching right now & trying to find out all that I can before I even start to consider a project.
So right now I have a Super Hypo Tang Female with snake eyes. If I wanted to produce a Creamsickle, would she also need to be carrot tailed? & what kind of male would I be looking to breed her with? Right now I'm looking at a Sunglow RAPTOR with snake eyes for the future. Would this have any possibility of producing a Creamsickle? & if they both have snake eyes, that is considered the Eclipse gene, right? Also - my female is 66% het for Tremper Albino. Would this affect the outcome seeing how Creamsickles have no albino strains in them?

EDIT - Bah! Wrong section! Meant to post in Morphs & Genetics.. sorry guys!

I have posted a few times on here about genetics of Creams. Genetically they are simply a Hypo Tangerine Snow. However, you can not cross a snow with a hypo tangerine and produce one. It takes several generations before you produce anything worthy of being a Creamsicle. The market has been saturated with f1 or f2 "creamsicles" which are very low quality and do not truly fit the morph description. Using your SHT eclipe you would need a male snow (preferably hypo to reduce number of years to get a Cream). I have produced Cream Eclipses and I dont like them as much. The eclipse gene will dull the tangerine on the snow. So I would simply suggest getting a hypo snow male. I also would not use anything that is even het for albino. Once you add in albino it becomes a Snow Glow. Which are a nice morph...but I personally prefer Creams. Creamsicles do not need CT in order to be a cream. It is actually quite the opposite since snow prevents much CT from developing.

No your pairing will not produce Creams because you have no snow in the mix.

I have gone more into details about Creams before and if you have specific questions just ask. Here are some pics of Creams and their dif stages of life/development.

Thanks for all the info! Now, if I were to breed to a Hypo Snow, and I got babies, which one of the morphs would I need to breed the babies back to over the years?

You need to have a Hypo Snow with Tangerine influence and then you take that snow to any tangerines you want. You can use more Creams or hypo snow tangerines but then you can also make supers. Which is not always bad...but defeats the purpose of Creams

Thanks for answering all my question. I really do appreciate it, & I'm sure I'll have more to come! That Cream Enigma is to die for.

Both enigma creamsicle are very interesting, what age they had at the time of the photo?.
In how many generations you've arrived at these results?

About 45-60 days old...a couple sheds in. As far as the generations...well I got my original creams from JMG at 5th & 6th generation from him then I put another 3 to 4 to them. So it depends on how you want to call it. I never claimed to have my own line of creams so I combined the years of lineage because the creams used were that many years of selective breeding. The main and only variable when breeding Creams is the line of Tangerine used in them.

In the comparison picture the ages are 15 days and 1.5 years and after a breeding season.

This year too I'll start trying to merge a pair of geckos to begin selecting the creams, I've had good results contrast in F1 from my mack high contrast, which I recently joined a elettric cross, then we see what will come from 'egg if it is worth it to select them.
Then after March I will have a female by JMG creams to try.
You went with that outcrooss lines tangerine?
I seem to see good results adding to the enigma combo, right? ... Have some pictures of adult creams enigma?
