Crested gecko help please

I have only had my crested for 4 days but I haven't noticed him eat. He licked my finger with food on it like twice. He could have eaten at night but I not sure. Do you know of any ways to make them eat?

It is not in it's final home yet...but in it does it
need a water bowl? Or is that dangerous?

It might take him a little longer to settle in. Also, when they're smaller, you might not notice much food missing. I never see mine eat, but there are potties in there, so I know they are.

I keep a tiny water bowl in with all of mine. I've seen a couple use theirs, but most will drink when I spray.

If its a small geck, it is really hard to notice if they ate food, they have little bellies and often just take a few licks. And as long as you are seeing poop, then your gecko is eating, I know you are looking for a better answer, but that is the honest truth, poop=eating with these little ones.

I personally dont keep water dishes in with mine as they get sprayed down twice a day and get the cgd. There is no problem keeping a water dish in there, just be sure it is shallow.

He should eat. mine love crickets so throw some in with it. with CGD i used the 2 part diet so maybe hes not used to the store bought kind. i would go onto Pangea and get some 2 part crestie diet i think its better than the stuff in the store
