Cricket Size?

Ok, so I've always been under the impression that when it comes to cricket size when feeding, never offer one that is longer than the distance between the gecko's eyes. Lately I've come across information that says nothing bigger than 90-95% of the head and I've seen a picture of a leopard gecko eating a bug that I thought was way too big for it (length of the bug was waaaaaaayyyyy bigger than my little between the eyes rule)! I must say it freaked me out! Anyway, I just wanted to throw my ponderings out here and see what any of you guys want to share on this topic. Thanks!

I don't feed my geckos anything larger than 90% of the head. I have heard of a few people say that it is okay to feed bigger bugs (like roaches) when they have just molted and are still white, but I have chosen not to risk it. I don't want them to choke or get their food stuck in their throwt.

I feed superworms to my adult male leo. The big ones are 150% the width of his head. No problems, but he knows how to really chomp down on them (i.e., chew his food).

Its ok to feed worms to Leopard Gecko's which are quite significantly longer than the length between their eyes due to they are fairly slender so go down well, with crickets and roaches etc... the limits are much smaller without the risk of choking as they are far bulkier build...

I think most of the crickets would be the right size, I feed some pinkies to females after they breed and there about the same size as the head of the gecko.

I use the "No food bigger than the leos head" rule, and even though I tried feeding supers to my adults, they ignored them cuz they were used to large crickets and not big worms.
