I am having a hard time finding cricket suppliers that are not too much money for about 3-4 thousand crickets. I have 39 geckos and with superworms being hard to come by or even mealworms its getting hard to have to maintain crickets its outragous to have to pay like 20 per 1000 crix at the local petstore even though they are good ones that live well and I can get them directly from their supplier for 16 per 1000. I have bought from Ghanns before, and a few others I like to stick to ones in the southern region of the US otherwise the shipping costs are through the roof. Does anyone know of good cricket suppliers that their crickets survive well and are not outragous on prices? heck I remember when i could get crickets for 10-12 per thousand and those were the more exspensive ones thats including shipping. thanks for any suggestions. i hope no one thinks that I can't afford to take care of my geckos but i think thats alot of money for circkets when crickets don't survive too well alot of times also with the amount of geckos i have i go through alot of crickets and now i can't get too many superworms from one of my friends because they have had their colony suffer from what everyones elses has suffered from. unfortunately also we are going to hard times with just starting our business and unfortunately 450 a month doesn't pay the bills and animal food, gas, food, and etc but we are trying to grow it as fast as possible. lol. thanks all

I would love to get roaches but living with my in laws and they tend to come into the room alot so if they found out we were feeding roaches to the geckos they would kill us. its bad enough they dont like the geckos and sure as heck dont like the insects we feed them lol.

does anyone know if their is a law against shipping roaches to Florida? i was reading on a supplier who had sold them and said no shipping to FL due to state law i am just curious if i could figure out a way to hide them from his parents i would love to have a colony of roaches not that i like them but i know they breed so you dont have to buy them after a while which is awesome.
