crickets

i usually feed my gecko(male, 10 inches long, almost 3 years of age...)

3 crickets per day or 6 per 2 days...(like my local pet store told me to):main_thumbsup:

but recently i noticed my gecko doesnt eat has he used 2!! could this be due to the fact he is getting older and does not have the same feeding requirements?

It is not unusual for geckos to slow down with their eating this time of year. In the wild, when the days become shorter than the nights and the temperatures drop, they know it's time to brumate for the winter.

Unless he startes losing weight, it's probably nothing to worry about.

You really dont need to feed him everyday, that may be why he isnt eaten as much. When there young yes but as adults, a couple times a week is good.

I feed my Big Guy Mon Wed and Fri and he;s gained ALOT of weight since Ive had him.
