Okay, so ive managed convice my mother to let me get a leo. Do i HAVE to feed him crickets? Because, im sorta scared of them, its a bit like arachnophobia. I have a friend who has a few leos, and he chases me around his house with crickets. I have forced my self a few times to hold them in my hand, but with no joy.

So do i HAVE to feed my leo crickets. (When i get it)

No! Leopard geckos can also eat mealworms, superworms, and roaches. (The pet store m.ight also tell you that waxworms are a food choice but they are unhealthy like candy so stay away from them) You might want to ask what the breeder has been feeding the gecko before you buy it though. They can be a little harder to switch from crickets to worms than the other way around.
