my uncle can no longer care for his baby ball python (he's moving into an apartment that does not accept reptiles.) and wants to give him to me! but only if the folks say yes. he's a male, has a 55 gal tank, and ceramic heater, (locks on the lid of course. ) and is curruntly eating fuzzies. so i'm really hoping they'll say yes because i've wanted a ball for soooooo long!

how old is this snake because my two month olds eat large mice so I am thinking he is being way underfeed and also a 55 gallon is way to big for a ball python they like small enclosures and truthfully they like to be in plastic tubs they make them feel more secure go to ball-pythons.net they are really good with all the ins and outs of ball python keeping

My first ball python has spent almost all of her life in a 55 gallon aquarium. They are fine for ball pythons of any age as long as there are plenty of hides.

Hope you get him but you don't need that big of a tank.
