can a female have eggs without ever being with a male and if so what should i do as far as placing something into her cage for her to lay them.the reason that i ask is that my females stomach is very big and it appears that she has several white round objects in her stomach looks to be around 6 or 7

A gecko shouldn't have 6 or 7 eggs.. they commonly lay 2, so I don't think you are seeing eggs. But yes.. a female COULD produce eggs without a male..very un common, and obviously they'd be infertile and likely dissolve back into her system before they are laid.

In very, very, very, VERY rare cases, females that are isolated from males can undergo a process known as parthenogenesis, or cloning. One species in particular, the Indopacific Gecko, is exclusively female.

Parthenogenesis rarely occurs in bisexual reptiles, but it has been observed in Komodo dragons. It's never been documented in leopard geckos though.

I think your female may just be ovulating, but if she does end up laying any eggs, they'll be infertile unless you introduce her to a male.

She could be ovulating so give her a lay box just in case the lays them instead of reabsorbing them. Some of the white spots in her belly may be fat.
