A newbie to the gecko world. Have 2 leopard geckos, male and female, had them about 3 yrs, about 5 yrs old. Coolest ever, laid eggs all the time, easy to take care of and my bulldog loves them!! In the last month the male has gotten skinny, last 3 feedings have had to feed him by hand, seems he cant see the food, my son is freaking. Do they go blind, or is there some other issue? I moved this to the proper sub-forum. Please check next time to be sure your post is in the correct forum. The gecko could have a parasite or could have been marginally supplemented for awhile and now he's having a reaction. At this point, you will need to find a reptile vet and bring him in because I think it's beyond the scope of a layperson.

I agree that a good reptile vet is needed. What kind of supplements have you been using with him?
