Hi, so I was wanting to make a custom background and hides for my leopard gecko's enclosure. I've already made a piece out of Great Stuff expanding foam, which I carved and sprayed with Krylon Fusion paint (which I was told is safe when fully cured). I'm okay with the way it looks right now. Is there anything else I need to do to for it to be 100% safe and ready to put in the enclosure? I've heard something about sealing the expanding foam with silicon or something like that. Is that necessary, to make it easier to clean, or just for looks?
