Hey there,

This is my first post on here (finally).

I work for a pet store, where I specialize in exotics, and I work as an animal rescue and rehabber. Naturally, this means that everyone who finds and animal winds up talking to me.

Today someone brought me a leopard gecko in a cooler. He found it doing lawn work, and it didn't belong to anyone in the neighborhood. He was not happy to be held.

His stomach is fat, but he isn't impacted. I'm a bit worried about how thin his tail is, but I'll fatten him right up.

He is eating when offered food, but not chasing after anything. But he seemed happy to take a nice warm soak when I offered it to him!

So what do you think? Closest I've thought was a Albino Jungle Bell?

It's not horrible thin, looks dehydrated a little. Is an albino jungle no way to tell which strain. I'm front jersey where you work?

Yeah he was dehydrated, and his tail wasn't stick thin so I wasn't terribly worried.

Thanks, we see a lot of diff. morphs at work and his isn't as common, so I was curious!

I work in the Holmdel/Hazlet area!

I see what you mean about the coloring suggesting he may be a Bell. It will be interesting to see if he lightens up as he recovers.

I'm quite sure it's a dark Tremper, the pattern doesn't have the right pop of a Bell.
