My daughter (8 yrs old) likes to Eskimo kiss her gecko, Zoey. We kept telling her to stop... Zoey probably doesn't like it. Well, today Zoey chomped on her nose! Don't know if Zoey thought it was food or she just got mad.
Hard enough to break the skin a bit! I don't think my daughter will do that again! :p

That was gecko love, but it must be pretty scary. I'm glad your daughter is ok!

Sorry but i would have wet myself laughing at that, but im just weird :p

Hope both daughter and gecko are fine though :)

I got bit on the finger by one of my babies the other day from sticking it into the moist hide and when it happened i jumped and squealed. It didnt hurt at all but taught me to be more careful :D

LOL The thought never really crossed my mind of them biting since I've always heard they really don't unless provoked.
This morning my daughter has two marks... it looks like mini rakes went across her skin. It just barely broke the skin, but one of those scratches you can see from across the room, especially on the tip of her nose!
She was embarrassed at first to tell me. At least she's not afraid to hold them now.

Wow! That gecko must have really chomped down hard! I've been bitten by geckos before but I had no idea they could leave that kinda mark.
