So its been 5 days now since my new guy and girl came from a breeder. Just through in some new crickets this morning. Still no interest have some meal worms in the calcium bowl and nothing. So i guess my question is how long do i keep them on the slurry?

Are they eating the slurry? Are they possibly not hungry because they're eating the slurry, and is it possible that they're still stressed out because they're needing to be picked up to be fed the slurry? I got a SS from JMG 2 years ago who neither ate nor pooped for 2 weeks. I was pretty worried. He was 10 months old and 48 grams which didn't seem like much at the time. He finally started eating after 2 weeks and hasn't stopped yet.

Well a gecko with a full belly of slurry is not going to want to eat ;)

Stop slurry feeding, and give them time to adjust and their prey drive will do the rest! 5 days is nothing...I've had them not eat for 2 weeks after bringing them home.

Why are you giving them slurry?
Is it just because they are not eating the feeders you are giving
them?
Are you housing them together?
Are they healthy looking, nice fat tails?
What did the breeder feed them?
What are the floor temps in the tank?

It's not unusual for geckos to go off food under certain circumstances.

Breeder feed them crickets. I have crickets and meal worms in tank. They are house separate. Tank temps are 88-92 day and night. Male is active and is the skinny one not a fat tail, girl is one that hides all day long but has a fat tail. Breeder kept tanks at 90 with an air temp of 70 i know i have a full rang of temps in cage thanks to uth basking spot and cold areas also with ares to climb close to light or further away. 2 hides each cage water dish and calcium dish.

Just give them time. Stress will play a huge factor with them not eating. A new environment is very stressful and they probably won't want to hunt for a little while to adjust. My new little girl didn't eat for a week before she finally realized that this was her new home and the crickets I'm putting in there are her food. Your leo will be fine...just give it some time.

I agree, take them off of that slurry. A couple days is nothing to worry about. The stress from the move, and then being handled by someone new is more then enough to cause the leos to not eat.

7 days now and no eating. I haven't started slurry yet hoping hunting food will kick in. Just bought super worms and a high bowl so they cant escape and walk around cage. What you guys think i should do now?

I agree. All leos are different. When they want to start hunting and eating they will.

well for 1, what is a slurry? sorry for my ignorance...

And also, geckos are animals... their instincts should tell them when to eat, I wouldnt worry as long as there is food available. My Leo is only 6 inches long (dont know the weight) and although there is constantly food available she sometimes goes a day or 2 without eating a thing... and has a nice plump tail. Dont worry mate, your leos will eat when they want :D

I have had geckos go two weeks without eating after they were shipped and then start and put on weight like the rest of them. If the animal is in good overall health and has good weight I wouldn't worry to much. Good luck with the new addition.
