Day Gecko Escapee

Erm... In my introduction thread I mentioned acquiring a gecko from a guy who works in the shipyards. It's a gold dust day gecko that came in on freight from hawaii, amazingly alive. I thought he was pretty laid back. He was tired and dehydrated and cold. So I made him a nice steamy little habitat and fed him some mashed peach and banana baby food. It must have done him some good because he turned into a friskey ninja and escaped from his makeshift habitat by the time I had returned with a new terrarium. 0.0 I've left a heat lamp on for him in the bathroom he escaped from, plus a hide and fresh water and some more baby food. I also left a little dish of it upstairs in the kitchen behind the potted plants. I know day geckos differ in their habits from the nocturnal geckos, so is there any other advice you could give me?

I've done some searching, but int his house I think that may do more harm then good. I'm hoping to just lure him out.... before I move out on the 1st! XD

look on the walls of course, look around curtains, behind pictures, mirrors fridges, ovens anything you can think of look, do you have all of your stuff boxed, if so seal them that way he cant get in or out of them when you move so if you dont find him when you leave you can hope hes in one of the boxes where it will be a matter of unpacking him lol

Well, luckily I'm just moving out of my parents house so even if I'm gone they can find him and I'll only be about an hour or two away. Oooh, I do have boxes packed. That's a good one. I'll check the curtains. Though my gut feeling tells me he's in or behind the bookshelves, which are really big and heavy and up against a warm part of the wall, lots of nooks and crannies..... I just rechecked the bathroom and in all the potted plants, and sort of looked in the entertainment center. Lucky for me he's bright green. I'm really hoping he just settles into a corner near the ceiling... is that too much to ask? lol.
