db and bb visual differences

what are the best ways to visually tell a diablo blanco and blazing blizzard apart? both are very light in color and both can have red eyes...so if someone were to buy one off of some stranger and was told it was a db, how would they know it was visually without going on the sellers word? just out of curiosity.

Diablo Blancos carry the Eclipse trait while Blazing Blizzards do not. Simple as that.

oh, ok thanks. the eclipse trait is a total red eye with an indistinguishable solid red/translucent eye RATHER than red but viewable pupil correct?

All Eclipse eyes, Albino or Not have a viewable pupil. Even Solid eyes from Super Snows or Super Snow Albinos.

Can be very hard DB's are Talbino eclipse blizzards and with the eclipse gene 99% of leo's expessing eclipse come with a white wash nose this will how ever be very hard to see on a pinkie/whitie leo.Like you said BB and DB can both express ruby eyes.Talbino eclipse(Ruby eye) in DB's and Talbino false eclipse(Ruby eye) in BB's.Talbino eclipse tend to range from maroon red to scarlet red.Talbino false eclipse tend to range from very dark maroon red looking near black to marron red.Your best bet is at presant with DB's prices at they are.Is DON'T buy from a stanger :main_thumbsup: buy from a well known face then you know where to look if you don't get what you payed for.Which would be doutbful as breeder need to keep there reputation and if a misstake was made it would more then likly just be human error not that you've been conned.When breeding DB's it best to only breed to DB to DB then all offspring are DB's.Or breed DB to RAPTOR HET blizzard or RERS HET blizzardetc'etc then coz your breeding eclipse to eclipse all the leo expressing the blizzard gene will be DB.
