Dead hatchling

This morning I checked the incubator and found a very small hatchling. Then a few hours later I checked again for its clutch mate. When I looked in the incubator I saw it had made it completely out of the egg but was just lying there not moving.

Has this happened to anyone? What could've caused this?

** For the record the previous clutch hatched out with no problem. I did however mark this clutch as having a questionable egg. I don't remember what I saw as a potential problem when it was laid but most likely it wasn't as firm as I like to see.

I had a blizzard het albino hatch out and die as soon as it got out of the egg. It hatched while I was at work for 7 hours (I check before I leave and after I get back). But I have no clue what caused it. Its clutchmate hatched like a day later and is as healthy as can be. She is even a hold back because she is a female blazing.

I had a female stripe amel. fattail start to hatch, she got her head out, but when I checked later, she was dead. I guess these things just happen occasionally, it is sad though.

I had a leo come completely out of the egg, however when I checked the incubator and found her she was dead... she was a week premature of her estimated hatching date so that may have had something to do with it. But it's still sad...

We had one go full term and still die right after hatching. It had absorbed all of the yoke and probably weighed about 3g. I don't know why some of them just don't make it. Just part of nature I guess...
