Hi Karin,

I am from that area originally, so I go to that show now and then. It is very small with no leos, but they have some other stuff that is really nice. Leos haven't really caught on in that area yet. Some great snakes, even some rattlers!

The people who run that WNY herp society there are super nice and very knowledgeable people and I highly recommend joining and getting their newsletter.

I live in the area and went last year. There was ONE table with leos(and the vendor didn't know too much about genetics, actually). But, if you're into anything else(especially Ball Pythons or cresties) it's a good place for them. I'll probably be going this year as it's a good place to check out some local animals and pick up supplies/feeders.

The cool thing about the WNYHS is they have special seminars and exhibits in a conference room off the vendor exhibit hall with experts presenting on all different herp topics. Last year they had an exotic animal keeper with a huge collection of the most amazing animals in the world. He even had an enormous Crocodile Monitor that was like something out of Jurrasic Park! Huge, nasty looking monster.
So while they don't have a large number of vendors they have some really worthwhile things there and the people in that group are some of the friendliest I've ever met.
Go and have fun. I'll miss the Sept 19th show by a week...bummer.
