I recently purchased a beautiful male from Ray at Designer Geckos. Ray takes a lot of pride in what he does and really cares for each of his geckos. He is extremely helpful and answered all questions I had. Buying from him was an easy experience. Gecko is exactly as pictured on his website. Shipped in perfect condition. Very healthy and acclimating well. I would recommend him to anyone.

I would like to share my story of working with Ray of Designer Geckos.
The girlfriend and I decided to visit Designer Geckos' store front one Friday. I was able to get off of work a little early. I picked up my girlfriend and we were off to Designer Geckos. We hit rush hour traffic and it doubled our travel time. It was about 20 minutes before Designer Geckos would close and we were an unknown amount of time away. My GF called and talked to Ray to let him know what was going on, his response was "No problem, I'll keep the shop open for you." We made it 5 minutes before closing time.
The first thing when we got there, Ray introduced himself and offer the use of his restroom knowing we had driven about 2 hours to get there. Over the next hour, he introduced each of his available geckos. He told us about their eating habbits, personalities, traits and where he got each one. He knew and loved each one of his geckos. Let me say this, the pictures on his website as good as they are, don't do justice to his beautiful geckos. The gf and I pick out three geckos and a few other supplies while there. It was time to pay for our purchase. Ray states They only accept cash or check in the store. The GF and I only brought bank cards. Sad at the thought of going home empty handed, Ray stands up and tells us, That he will allow us to take the animals and supplies home and he would allow us to pay by paypal that night or the next day since we would be getting back late. I was amazed and shocked he would let us walk out of his store as first time customers with 500+ dollars worth of animals and supplies. We made our way home and paid him that night. We have purchased a couple of animals since then. I can't speak highly enough of Ray and his animals.

Thanks all for these touching and most meaningful comments. I'm stunned and humbled. I just always try to treat others like I myself would like to be treated, but it's nice to know people do appreciate it. That's what makes it all worthwhile for us. It's not about the money. We here are all involved with leos because we love them so much. They are special little critters that have enriched our lives in a very special way.
I just got done trimming and pan frying one of my favorite delicacies, chicken livers! It is a long process and the whole time I was working in the kitchen Ronnie, my TV buddy gecko, was out watching TV on the couch by himself (Carol was already in bed asleep). True story! I didn't even have to check on him. After 30 minutes of cooking I came back in the living room to tell him he was a good boy as he sat on his spot on the couch that whole time, then I went to take my shower. How many reptiles could you entrust like this?! These are amazing animals as you all know. It's why we do what we do at DG. We want others to feel this special connection the way we have. Thanks all. I feel very lucky to be in this great family.
