Dex Exploring

Dex was out exploring tonight so I snapped a couple of pics. I know the pic is horrible, but does anyone have a guess if Dex is male or female?

Looks like a girl, but agree a clearer shot would help confirm.
When I need to get a look at STUTFL's underside for whatever reason, I "walk" him from hand to hand for a bit, escalator-style, then take one of my hands away when he's only halfway onto the other. He'll stretch out his hindlegs to grab onto my thumb, with his tail hanging down, and I can get a pretty good look while he's trying to figure out how he's going to get himself out of this one. :laugh4:

Thanks! Yeah, I'm thinking Dex may be a female as well. I've gotten a good look at his/her underside before and I don't seen any bulges or a v-shaped row of pores so I'm thinking female.

New Pics! These should be a little bit better, any idea on sex? I'd really like to know because I'm planning on getting a tank mate for Dex. I don't want them mating and I don't want two males together so I'm hoping Dex is a female!

is it possible for you to take one more picture, this time of just above the tail base? on the first picture I thought it was defanitly a female, but on the second one I think I can see the v-shaped pores...?

I'll try tomorrow night. He's not to fond of being photographed and it's past his bedtime. I know what you mean about the pores though, but sometimes what looks like prominent pores ends up being shadows cast by a fold of skin!
