I don't see why that wouldn't make it DB... alot of DB's do have yellow on the body, but i don't know how it being speckled would play into it.

Do you know the parents? I ask because there could be a chance of Enigma if so...

Speakin of DB's, i was just wondering this, cuz i have heard both ways... Is it true that DB's will only create DB's? In other words, can you get RAPTOR babies from it? Cuz i have heard you can get babies that have the genes that make a Diablo Blanco, and then i have also heard that when those 2 genes come together to make a DB, that it morphs and creates an entirely new gene, which is the Diablo Blanco gene...??

A Diablo Blanco, is a Blazzing Blizzard Raptor. Paired it to a Raptor will give you Raptors het blizzards.

And paired it to a normal will give 100% normal het diablo blanco aka Normal het Raptor and blizzard.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is if a diablo Blanco has a little yellow in does that decrease the buying price as opposed to an animal that is clean white? Is it a lower grade diablo?

not necessarily... i don't think so anyways... i have seen DB's that have yellow on the body that are as pricey as ones that are all white. And also what comes into play with that is the coloration of the eyes... i.e. how solid red they are, the intensity of the red, if they are red snake eyes, or 100% red, etc. I have seen DB's that are solid white, but with red snake eyes that are less expensive than a DB that had yellow on the body with 100% bight solid red eyes. I think breeders of DB's price them on their knowledge of how the parent's looked, and in their eyes what the offspring should be priced at...

As for me personally, i plan on getting one myself aswell, wanted one for a while, but when i purchase one, i will be purchasing one that is solid white with solid bright red eyes.

you may want to check out geckosetc.com - Steve Sykes is a well known breeder and works with alot of these and he has alot of DB's for sale under the Blazing Blizzards link, and you can see the fluctuation of prices between the DB's based on how they look and coloration...

...i do think though that an ALL WHITE DB is more desirable than a DB that has yellow on the body... However, I don't know about yellow speckles. All im saying above is that i have seen it both ways... i think it depends on the saturation of yellow, etc...

PIX!! SHOW US SOME PIX!!! lol
