I just switched my leo to a 20 Gallon long from a 10 gallon where he had been doing just fine, and now I found some diarrhea? Is this from stress or something else?? It only just started when I switched him into the 20 Gallon.
he's in the tank by himself, fed mostly meal worms, the warm side of the tank is typically around 88-90 degrees and he's about maybe...8-11 months old I would say? He was a petstore gecko so i'm unsure of exact date of birth
EDIT:
Saw this form, decided to add it
About your leo:
- Sex - unknown, they are still rather young and skittish so I have yet to get a chance to check
- Age & Weight - Around 10 months, unknown because they were a pet store gecko
Havent had a chance to weight them because they don't like being picked up
- How long have you owned your leo - Since September of 2014
- Where was he/she obtained (ex. Pet store, breeder, wild caught, friend) pets mart , was a gift
A) Health/History
- How often do you handle your leo - they only ever let me pick them up once, they are generally always rather skittish
- Is your leo acting any different today? If so how does he/she normally act which differs from now. - they don't seem to be acting any different from what I can tell.
- Has he/she had any problems in the past, if so please describe. - no
B) Fecals
- Describe (look any different than normal) - a pile, mush, like diarrehea i'm guessing
- When was the last time he/she went - 1 day ago
C) Problem
- Please briefly describe the problem and how long it has been going on - I'm guessing they are experiencing diarrhea?? It looks like it at least, and it only has happened once so far.
