I used to like Andy Rooney's 5 minute piece at the end of TV's 60 Minutes show. He would go through several "did you ever wonder" questions with a short commentary after each one. I always appreciated some of the bazaar questions he would come up with to make the audience ponder, and thought it might be fun to start a thread along those lines. I'll start...

Why they call it "taking a dump", and not "leaving a dump"? I mean come on, you're not gonna take it with you when you leave the restroom, are you? :main_huh: :main_laugh:

did you ever think about what each individual cell is doing in your body and then think about the neurons firing in your brain and releasing your brain chemicals and also visualize all of this (at the cellular level like you are in your body watching it as it is going on) at the same time?

i dont know if this is such a good thread for me, i wonder about some strange stuff

and i wonder about the vastness of space and all of the things in the universe going on all at the same time? like say jupiter gets hit by a HUGE astroid and is split into bits and how many days it would take us to know and lets say at the same time another planet is being formed somewhere else, possibly from the debris of jupiter, its like a smooth running car :yes: think about it
