thanks for the reply on that... now to add 1 more part. I see alot about their eyes. The eyes on mine are over 3/4 of the way solid black. what is up with that.

Mcvancleave yours sounds like it has snake eyes. now Stitchex asked what snake eyes were as well so ill elaborate. Snake eyes are a genetic mutation in Blizzards and Trempers where part of the eye becomes(black in the case of a Blizzard) (Red in the case of a Tremper). Snake eyes are represented as fractions 1/8, 1/6, 1/4, 1/2, .... as you can have more than half snake eye you can have smaller snake eyes. The Tremper strain of snake eye can be reproduced in the babies as i believe its a recessive gene. The Blizzard strain of snake eyes is completely random and thats about all we know about the Blizzard strain. Snake Eyes can affect one eye or both eyes it depends.

you are thinking of the pupil snake eyes are partial eclipse eyes (solid black nothing else, red in the case of albinos and raptors) so a full snake eye would be half solid black and half normal silver(or again red in the case of and albino)

No prob thats what im here for. I took and interest in snake eyes anyways because my Blizzard has a partial one and so I started doing research so Snake eyes are one of the few genetic traits i understand :main_laugh:

now i am going to have 2 look more in it.. Honestly at first i was thinking the orange eyes with the small snake eye splits were called snake eyes. So is those eyes normal

well there are some eclipse eyes mostly R.A.P.T.O.R.s and such that have slightly visible slits in there eyes but for the most part a normal eye is silver with a vertical slit (color varies now days from morph to morph excluding Normal, Patternless, hypo, super hypo, Tang, Ect, Ect, Ect these are all about the same color Blizzards seem to have slightly darker silver but relatively the same)now when u say orange eyes im assuming you mean R.A.P.T.O.R although im not familiar with all morphs by any means.

they are not red but real bright orange almost the color of the text you see right below this thread Previous Thread | Next Thread ..... she is a tremp

ok being a Tremper Snake eyes are pretty common but from the sounds of it she has normal eyes if its just the vertical ovular slit, of course there are partial snake eyes like for example a 1/6 or 1/8 snake eye will be most likely in the top corner but the rest of the eye would look normal. If you can get pictures of the eye I could tell you for sure whether or not they are snake eyes and if they are how much they are.
