I have a RAPTOR male that has one full ruby eye and one partial eclipse eye, and I've been wondering for a while how it is that the ruby eye can look red but the partial looks black? Is it the amount of black/red being just not enough for me to see the red hue? Although it's difficult to see in the picture, the full eclipse eye definitely looks ruby color, and you can see the black of the partial eye. Whattayouguysthink? Does anybody else notice this in their eclipse albinos?

i think its down to light being reflected back out of the eye that is snake eye making it look brighter,
what interests me much more is why you can get a snake eye and a full eclipse eye in a single gecko, why aren't they both the same,
