If you hatch out Blizzards and Blazing Blizzards how can you tell the differences between them?
1.) Can they both have snake eyes?
2.) Someone in another thread said marbled is the same thing as snake eyes? I thought snake eyes was when half the eye or part of it was completely black. Marbling to me would be, well marbled? Can someone clear this up for me please?
3.) Blazings have albino eye's correct?
4.) Blizzard's have dark eyes?
Any one have epictures of the two? Eye shots etc? I have already looked at wiki but I am looking for some more. Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to post pics or answer any of my questions. I thought I knew the answers to these questions but now I am questioning myself and just want to be 100% sure i know what's going on. Thanks so much for anyones time and help :main_thumbsup:

Blazing Blizzards are Albino Blizzards so they have red eyes. The red in the Blazing's sometimes fade to a very dark red (Almost Black).

Their skin color usually is more of a pink then a grey of a normal blizzard. The eyes are red when hatched and will turn a darker red as already said. Also the snake eyes are very common in blizzards so that's not a way to determin being a blazzing or not.

The difference can be seen in the eyes, but i have never heard anything about blazing blizzards having red eyes.... can someone confirm or disprove this?

I think I read in another thread when searching about the differences that Paul from NJ said he knew someone who had a BB with solid red eyes? Maybe if he see's this thread he will confirm or deny this (or maybe I can find the thread again it was in). I also read in other threads the veins in the eye's are a good way of telling?

I suppose you would get really nice red eyes if you used a bell albino with the blizzard. Aren't bell blizzards pretty rare?

Actally as far as I know there was only one Bell Blazzing Blizzard produced by Kelli, unfortunatly it did not live to see one. Bell BBs have been the Holy Grail of Leos for a long time, with many trying for it. I was working on trying to produce one myself but decided to go in other directions after talking to a couple of breeders that had many leos into that project.

Steve Sykes produced one in 08 and I believe there were 1 or 2 produced in Europe aswell.

why are they so rare? anyone know? I guess it's something to do with the bell side of things as tremper albino seems to work ok with blizzard. Has anyone produced a RW blizzard?

As of 2009 all three strains of Patternless Albino and Blazing Blizzard have been produced. But to answer your question its because the Bell Albino is the youngest strain of albinism.

Many times you see BB in Hamm named Bell BB cause they bought them from Mark Bell it´s only a trick.
SO far 3 BBB have hatched one at Kelli Hammack that died one at Steve Sykes still living and fat and one at my friend David from geckobase.
The one David hatched is a female and for sale same as teh parents so he is right now offering a groupe of 1.1 Blizzard 100% het Bell(from Sykes) and 0.1 Bell BB
