Differences between SHTCT and Sunglow?

Sunglow - As per TUG's site "We have selectively bred the albino, super-hypomelansitic, carrot tail and our own tangerine bloodline into one incredible gene pool to produce what has been described as one of the most remarkable Leopard Geckos available today."

SHTCT- Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail

So, "Tangerine" is considered a line bred trait with several breeders taking credit for having their own "line" of tangerines? As per my searches, there are several breeders claiming to have unique tangerines. To my understanding, the Sunglow is simply TUGs Tangerine line bred to a SHTCT albino to make a brighter SHTCT. Is this correct? Or is there more to the Sunglows? Also, they look similar to RAPTORS, is there a way to tell the difference or do you have to trust the breeder?

You are correct in that Tangerines are a line bred trait and many breeders have been working their own unique twist on them to make their own line. The difference between a SHTCT and a Sunglow are the presence/lack of the albino gene. Sunglows are albino and SHTCT are not. The TUG line of Tangerine is the Tornado.

Also a raptor may look a bit similar to a sunglow sometimes but the raptor has another trait called eclipse. Eclipse makes the eyes one solid colour. Either black or red. With raptors it is red because of the presence of albino.

So sunglow is an SHTCT albino
and RAPTOR is a Tremper Albino With eclipse.
I dont know if you know but raptor stands for Red-eyed Albino Patternless Tremper ORange.
