Differentiating Albinos? Look same to me!

Received some Leos in a trade today - been awhile since I've had Leos, but it will be nice to use the Exo-Low tank I've had hanging around. I received a Normal Female (Obvious) and a Blizzard Male (Again, obvious).

I also received what I was told was a male Bell Albino - but I can not determine albinos to save my life. I'm a Crestie person haha, Leo morphs are a whole new world. Then later on that day I picked up (from a different person) what I was told was a Tremper Albino Female. Now, both geckos look different in terms of pattern and a little in coloration - but the eyes look the same if you ask me. I have no idea what morph or morphs I'm dealing with.

Since you didn't breed them, you kind of have to trust what they say they are. It can be near impossible to differentiate between tremper, bell, and rainwater albinos at times. There are some subtle lil things you can look for, such as tremper having silverish eyes, while bell having more of a reddish looking eye. But even then it can be pretty hard to tell on some geckos.

For the two pictured, from my experience the male does look like a bell based on the bold patterns. Bell albinos are known for their bold patterns, while trempers are known for their vivid display of solid colors such as the tangerine/yellow on their body. So at first glance the male could be a bell albino, female could be a tremper albino.

I'm going to agree. Looking at the pic before reading your post, I immediately thought "That's a Bell!" on the male. And the female does look Tremper-ish.

The differences in eyes on a Tremper vs. a Bell aren't as distinctive as the differences between a Bell/Tremper and a Rainwater, or between any of the albinos and a "normal" gecko's eyes. Using the eyes as a guide is a good guess, not 100%.

Thank you everyone. They were purchased from reputable sources, but I just wasn't 100% sure myself as I thought there would be more of a difference in the eyes. I'm one of those people who assumes everyone I purchase an animal from is lying or isn't sure of morph and just guesses - no matter how reputable the source. Always second guessing haha.

as far as bell/tremper goes - is one more desirable than the other?
