Digesting problems in 2 year old leo?

My 2 year old female gecko ate 5 normal sized meal worms yesterday but did not digest them. She has passed them as fecal matter. They are completely intact in the corner. This has never happened. Is this cause for great concern?

She has been eating fine until now. The warm side is usually between 90 and 95 but she spends barely any time over there. She prefers her cold side and spends the majority of the day and night in her hide to my knowledge. She's never had any health problems in the two years I've had her. The closest herp doctor is 45 minutes to an hour away.

Any advice asap would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Amy

well, its possible she did. i assumed they were passed since they are in her bathroom section, but now i look, i see a few in a separate corner. but this has still never happened before. is it still a concern?

can be yes. has she had a fecal in the last two years? maybe she doesnt like the warm side because it is too warm. try bringing it down five degrees. make sure to check the bottom temperature, it might actually be higher than you think

maybe 85-90, for her it might be too hot where as for another geckos can take it hotter. what are her ambient "cool side" temps?

ok that is fine. give her a couple of days to get her tummy feeling better. watch her weight. lower the temps just a tad and get an appt for a fecal test. in the mean time keep a close eye on her. when you do feed her next time, only offer her a couple of feeders and see if she keeps them down

I have heard that it may be hard for them to digest the exoskeleton. My gecko has thrown up the mealworms or doesn't digest them completely so maybe your gecko is unable to digest them. However, if you have been feeding it mealworms for awhile, then I don't know why it wouldn't be able to digest it now all of a sudden. Hope this helps a little.
