Ok, so my friend is waiting on her membership confirmation to the site but I told her I'd ask her question so she didn't have to wait.

Her female gecko has been digging a lot lately and the male has gotten very protective of the female. Is this an indication of laying behavior or may the female be sick?

Is there a nest box around for her to lay in? Maybe that would be a good idea to place one in there with them. I know my friends female was doing that and we added one the next day and 3 days later had eggs! Good luck! Keep us updated!

Also if she is Gravid, she NEEDS to get that Male out of there ASAP, or else he could easily over breed her.

Well, the female doesn't look gravid which is why the owner is confused. There is a humid hide full of moss or coconut fiber I believe so I figured the female would try to lay in there.
