Dirty Glass Problem

Hi, I am trying to set up my 20g tank for my leopard Gecko but since the tank used to be a aquarium it has a bunch of calcium build up near the top. It makes the tank look REALLY bad and I really dont want to buy a 20g tank for 35 dollars. Please someone tell me how to clean the water line/ calcium build up off.

White vinegar works fairly well for removing that stuff.

CLR & a razor blade

I second the CLR. Set the tank on its side so it can soak the clr on the calcium deposits and then use a razor blade to scrape away. Worked on some of my tougher tanks.

Hot water. Not too hot but hot enough to dissolve the calcium.
