Dish Placement

Does it matter where you place your food/water/calcium dishes? I know with some animals they have preferences, I was just thinking that i would want the water on the cool side. Do they like to have thier food and water in the same place? Does it matter?

I keep them on the cool side for obvious reasons. though Ive noticed that with some Leos when you move there house around they get a little perturbed. I keep the water and food apart as I don't want water getting in the food dish.

All My bins have the food and water on the cool side also. I do have this one gecko that likes to poo in the spot where all water dishes are put so it got moved.

If the water and food dishes are too close, it's easier for the mealworms to get out of the food dish and into the water dish where they drown. I also vote for dishes on the cool side. If you have an upstairs, don't put any food or water dishes there in case they knock them down.
