this is an older picture of mine that I thought I would share. It is of a hatchling that died in the egg. I saw a few posts with other pictures like this, so i figured I would add:
the fact that te leo died is deffinatly not cool. That is for certain. But I belive it is cool to learn how they curl up to fit in the egg. Sorry if the title is misleading.
Personally, I don't think it's "cool" to post graphic photos of dead babies with the thread title as "Cool Picture". I have changed the title of this thread as a courtesy to other members warning them it is a disturbing photo of a dead hatchling.
Ok, I completly understand. I apologize for that... I could deffinatlty have been more conciderate of other users. I do, however, belive that nature is indeed "cool", and to me that picture just shows how miraculous it is that a gecko can fit inside a tiny egg like that. I hope you understand were I was comming from.
I think it answers the question: "That 3" hatchling curled up in THAT egg???!!!" beacuse we've all been there, lol.
i agree with you jakemyster, nature is cool, even the disturbing parts of it. i took no offense to your original title. thanks for sharing the pic, i always wondered what kind of position they had to be in to fit in that egg.
I agree that it's amazing that something the size of a leopard gecko hatchling can fit inside a little egg like that! I wasn't trying to be a mean old gecko lady... a few members were shocked when they were expecting a 'cool' photo and took offense when they saw a dead baby.
